Arc Studies No. 1
This geometric composition continues my fascination with form, rhythm, and color interaction of the drunkard’s path pattern. Semi-circles and quarter rounds repeat across a grid in a meditative sequence of muted primaries and softened jewel tones. Each segment is built up with textured dots, lending depth and dimension to the structured field. This study is both optical and tactile, evoking Bauhaus balance and midcentury color theory while remaining deeply rooted in the hand-made traditions that run through my body of work.
Mixed Media Encaustic, Cradled Wood Panel, Size: 20"X20"X0.875"
