Drunkard's Path IV
Inspired by the traditional Drunkard’s Path quilt block, this encaustic painting reimagines the classic curved design using wax, pigment, and heat. I use a heated stylus to “stitch” the surface dot by dot, layering color and texture to create movement and depth. It’s a nod to quilting tradition—honoring its history while making it my own.
Mixed Media Encaustic, Cradled Wood Panel, Size: 30"X30"X1.5"
