This piece began as an exploration of my radiant circle compositions but took a turn toward structure. Each square has its own personality, yet together they create a larger rhythm that feels somewhere between a quilt, a color study, and an architectural plan. The encaustic surface and hand-applied wax marks reward close looking while resolving into a vibrant, unified composition from across the room.
